What an inspiring day , as over 2𝟓0 p𝐚r𝐭i𝐜i𝐩a𝐧t𝐬 from Wards 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 17, 18 & 20 came together in 𝐍y𝐚n𝐲a𝐝z𝐢 to celebrate h𝐞a𝐥t𝐡y e𝐚t𝐢n𝐠, l𝐨c𝐚l f𝐨o𝐝s, 𝐚n𝐝 𝐜o𝐦m𝐮n𝐢t𝐲 𝐫e𝐬i𝐥i𝐞n𝐜e!![]()

From the aroma of t𝐫a𝐝i𝐭i𝐨n𝐚l d𝐢s𝐡e𝐬 made with sorghum, millet, and other nutritious small grains — to the creative 𝐜o𝐨k𝐢n𝐠 𝐝e𝐦o𝐬, s𝐞e𝐝 𝐞x𝐜h𝐚n𝐠e𝐬, a𝐧d v𝐚l𝐮e-a𝐝d𝐞d p𝐫o𝐝u𝐜t d𝐢s𝐩l𝐚y𝐬 (yes, even b𝐚o𝐛a𝐛 𝐬o𝐝a!
) — the festival was a vibrant showcase of how local foods can nourish families 𝐚n𝐝 strengthen livelihoods. ![]()
