TSURO Dzechimanimani Association Annual General Meeting has been held at TSURO Trust Main Offices located in Ngangu, Chimanimani District. It brought together all the Executive committee members, representatives of the Board and Management of TSURO Trust and District Committee members.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) provides a unique platform for representatives of the TSURO Dzechimanimani Association to interact with the board, management on the different project implementation and track progress made so far in all the TSURO Trust funded projects as well as presenting their ward plans for 2025.

TSURO Dzechimanimani Association is made up of representatives drawn from Chimanimani Districtโ€™s 23 Wards, Chipinge District 2 wards and Buhera District 2 Wards respectively.

TSURO Dzechimanimani Association is made up of 25 Ward Representative who represent TSURO Village Groups of their respective wards of residence and Farmers from all the Wards in which TSURO Trust operates.

TSURO Trust uses bottom- up approaches when designing its programmes that ranges from Agro ecology, Economic Strengthening, Public and Environmental Health as well as Natural Resource management.

Hence the series of AGM, Review and Planning do inform TSURO Trust staff on ideas which needs to be incorporated in future project proposal writings. So the farmer representatives are given a platform to asses on what went well last year, current status of the 11 programs being implemented in the communities, as well as presenting ward plans for the coming year 2025.

These discussions are coming at a time when TSURO Trust has expanded its operations into neighbouring wards of Chipinge (ward 1 and 9) and Buhera (ward 26 and 29).

The shared plans will be continuously used by TSURO Trust in writing proposal for both current and future proposal writings and identifying areas that needs improvement for future references.
