𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗢 in partnership with VSO Zimbabwe successfully conducted a 2 day workshop in 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗸𝘄𝗮 aimed at strengthening sustainable livelihoods and community resilience through 𝐒o𝐜i𝐚l A𝐜c𝐨u𝐧t𝐚b𝐢l𝐢t𝐲.

The workshop brought together community members, traditional leaders and government stakeholders to reflect on progress made, identify key challenges and develop practical solutions for stronger and more sustainable communities.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝:

Sustainable agriculture and agroecology

Environmental conservation and tree planting initiatives

Veld fire awareness and prevention

Livestock and grazing challenges

Market access and livelihood opportunities

Youth participation and empowerment

Inclusion of People Living with Disabilities (PLWD)

Stakeholder collaboration and community engagement

Climate resilience and sustainable development

Through collective dialogue and shared experiences, communities identified practical actions that will contribute towards stronger livelihoods, increased inclusion, promote social accountability and long-term resilience.
