Farmers and stakeholders from 𝐌a𝐬v𝐢n𝐠o (𝐒h𝐚s𝐡e), M𝐮t𝐨k𝐨 and 𝐂h𝐢m𝐚n𝐢m𝐚n𝐢 convened in 𝗠𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘄𝗲 for a dynamic cross exchange visit focused on advancing:
Agroecology,
Seed sovereignty
Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services.


The engagement provided a platform for sharing practical, community driven solutions ranging from the establishment of district seedbanks and promotion of indigenous small grains, to strengthening maternal health services and youth-friendly spaces. Participants also highlighted innovations in market access through digital platforms and collaborative approaches to improving emergency transport systems
.


Field visits to model homesteads showcased smart climate practices such as agroforestry, composting, intercropping and integrated farming systems, demonstrating pathways toward improved food security and sustainable livelihoods.
The exchange reinforced the critical role of partnerships and inclusive community structures in empowering women and youth
