The 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 held at C𝐡a𝐛a𝐭a P𝐫i𝐦a𝐫y S𝐜h𝐨o𝐥 brought together farmers, schools, community members, government stakeholders, churches and development partners in a vibrant celebration of healthy living, agroecology and sustainable food systems.

Hosted by 𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗢 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, the festival created a powerful platform for communities to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations and promote the importance of traditional foods, small grains, nutrition, hygiene and seed sovereignty.

Participants showcased a wide range of i𝐧d𝐢g𝐞n𝐨u𝐬 𝐬e𝐞d𝐬, s𝐦a𝐥l g𝐫a𝐢n𝐬, v𝐚l𝐮e a𝐝d𝐞d p𝐫o𝐝u𝐜t𝐬 and 𝐟o𝐨d p𝐫o𝐜e𝐬s𝐢n𝐠 𝐢n𝐧o𝐯a𝐭i𝐨n𝐬 aimed at strengthening food security and household livelihoods.

T𝐫a𝐝i𝐭i𝐨n𝐚l and n𝐮t𝐫i𝐭i𝐨n𝐚l c𝐨o𝐤i𝐧g d𝐞m𝐨n𝐬t𝐫a𝐭i𝐨n𝐬 highlighted the importance of consuming healthy non-GMO foods and balanced diets such as the Four Star Diet.

𝐄x𝐡i𝐛i𝐭i𝐨n𝐬 and 𝐞d𝐮c𝐚t𝐢o𝐧a𝐥 𝐭o𝐮r𝐬 allowed communities to learn practical skills in agroecology, food preservation, packaging, hygiene and sustainable agriculture.

The festival was also filled with vibrant edutainment activities including poetry, traditional dances, educational drama, church performances, agroecology songs, interactive entertainment that promoted culture, unity and community learning.

Special appreciation was extended to all participants, exhibitors, schools and stakeholders whose commitment made the event a success. The festival continued to demonstrate how indigenous knowledge, community participation and agroecology can transform livelihoods and build resilient communities.
