EMA Project Update: 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

The movement turned out to be a huge success alongside a roadshow which was supported by C𝐡i𝐦a𝐧i𝐦a𝐧i F𝐌 and the 𝐄n𝐯i𝐫o𝐧m𝐞n𝐭a𝐥 𝐌a𝐧a𝐠e𝐦e𝐧t A𝐠e𝐧c𝐲 (E𝐌A) to celebrate love in a sustainable way to mother earth.

We moved from 𝐖a𝐫d 2 (𝐌h𝐚n𝐝a𝐫u𝐦e a𝐧d W𝐞n𝐠e𝐳i) to W𝐚r𝐝 𝟑 (C𝐡a𝐤o𝐡w𝐚), taking a message on the road which encouraged the youths to shift from traditional valentine’s gifts to planting of fruit and indigenous trees.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 “𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞”?:

1. 𝑨 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒄𝒚: A bouquet of roses fades in a week, but a tree stands as a living reminder of your affection for years to come.

2. 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉-𝑳𝒆𝒅 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Our young people are taking the lead in climate resilience, proving that being “green” is the ultimate act of care.

3. 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: Whether it’s providing shade or fresh fruit, these trees nourish both our hearts and our communities.
