𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 – 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐤𝐰𝐚

Four Agroecology Fund Implementing partners namely TSURO Trust, Chinyika Trust, PORET, PELUM Zimbabwe, CELUCT and Government stakeholders are currently conducting the final exchange and reflection meeting in Chikukwa area in Chimanimani District to evaluate the impact of the project.

The Agroecology Fund which started running in November 2023 was aimed at capacitating and strengthening agroecology practices with a view to regenerate land using indigenous and scientific methods such as agroecology farming practices, Holistic Land and Livestock Management.

The delegates were taken through a tour visiting participants implementing different agroecology practices in Chikukwa ranging from agroforestry, indigenous Knowledge Systems, traditional seed multiplication, food and nutrition security, loose gabions and dead level contours.

The Four-day reflection and exchange visit will culminate with a final reflection meeting with partners evaluating the impact of the different interventions which were rolled out during the one and half year project circle.
