Farmers from 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶 and 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲 participated in an impactful 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 in the Chimanimani Lowveld, engaging with Farmer Field Schools and model homesteads 🤝🌾

The visit created a practical platform for 𝐩e𝐞r l𝐞a𝐫n𝐢n𝐠 𝐚n𝐝 𝐤n𝐨w𝐥e𝐝g𝐞 𝐞x𝐜h𝐚n𝐠e, highlighting:
✅ Agroecology and climate-smart farming practices 🌱
✅ Seed diversity and indigenous crops conservation 🫘
✅ Organic soil fertility (bokashi, compost) and natural pest control ♻️
✅ Value addition (solar drying, jam processing, honey & coffee alternatives) 🥫🍯
✅ Livelihood diversification (fish farming, poultry, goat production) 🐟🐔🐐
✅ ISALs strengthening household incomes and resilience 💰

Through h𝐚n𝐝s-o𝐧 𝐝e𝐦o𝐧s𝐭r𝐚t𝐢o𝐧s, 𝐟i𝐞l𝐝 𝐭o𝐮r𝐬 𝐚n𝐝 𝐩r𝐨d𝐮c𝐭 𝐬h𝐨w𝐜a𝐬e𝐬, farmers gained practical insights on how to improve productivity, enhance nutrition and build sustainable livelihoods at household level 🌍✨
