VSO Zimbabwe in partnership with 𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗢 and Young Achievers successfully facilitated a 3-day capacity building workshop in M𝐡a𝐤w𝐞 bringing farmers and government stakeholders together to strengthen community leadership, social inclusion, advocacy and disaster preparedness.

Addressing stereotypes, discrimination, assumptions and social exclusion while promoting social inclusion with equal participation.
Social Accountability Monitoring and the role of community committees in promoting transparency and responsive governance.
Understanding power imbalances, stakeholder mapping, relationship analysis and identifying root causes affecting community development.
Advocacy and policy-making processes to empower communities to influence positive change.
Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) through disaster mapping, risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, prevention, mitigation and community awareness.
