Stakeholder Engagement

Engaging Stakeholders to enrich and create mutual understanding and goodwill between the TSURO Trust and the project beneficiaries.

TSURO Trust took the opportunity during the recently held TSURO DzeChimanimani Annual General Meeting to brief project beneficiaries on project implementation on all the 11 different projects being implemented in Chimanimani, Chipinge and Buhera Districts respectively.

As the presentations unfolded, the project beneficiaries had time to reflect on the presentations highlighting, the areas that have been successfully done and those that require improvements.

The beneficiaries had the opportunity to engage TSURO Trust officials and to formulate a ward- based plan in the event of future projects proposals. These ward plans are ranked according to their order of importance by the project beneficiaries ranging from Agroecology, Public and Environmental Health and Economic Strengthening.

The success of any project hinges on buy in from stakeholders since and TSURO Trust believes such platform helps to create sustainable projects that has a strong bearing on improving the welfare of rural communities.

The approach of stakeholder engagement ensures project`s success and sustainability because beneficiaries` concerns would be prioritized hence increasing a sense of ownership and full utilization of all investments.

This longstanding relations between TSURO Trust and project beneficiaries ensures healthy relations on empowered communities to improve their livelihoods and relationships through programmes in areas of Sustainable Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, Community Health, Agro-Processing and Marketing
